STEP2. About Shipping Terms, Please check the Required Documents for Shipping
Please check the service to be used as per the contents of cargo, weight, size, quantity and value declared on invoice for customs purpose. Please note requirement of documents is as per the type of shipping service.
Please be sure to confirm with local importer before shipping who pays shipping cost and local import duty charge.
Normally, Importer pays local import duty but if you desire, OCS can provide the service of collection of import duty from exporter. You can choose the either way COD, or Pre-Paid.
You can choose either advance payment or C.O.D.
Please contact nearest OCS branch upon completion of preparation of the required documents.
OCS Staff will pick up your cargo. If you wish you may bring the cargo yourself to the nearest OCS Branch.
OCS does the month end closing so, the bill for the service provided in the month cycle will be sent to you before last date of the same month.
Please Note: If required, we change the date of closing of accounts as per your request.

Please make sure payment is made within 30 days from the date of issue of the bill.
Payment mode, either by Cheque or RTGS/NEFT.

OCS require the details (name, address, person in charge, telephone number of exporter) and contents of cargo, weight, size, quantity, the value declared for customs purpose on the invoice, and address of importer in India.
If you wish to import frequently, we can explain of our service, and offer the customised charge.

You can refer to clearance conditions ( KYC documents ) for Import in India, and find the service you would like to use.
Also, please confirm the availability of the documents required for import clearance in India.
Please be sure to confirm with exporter before shipping who will pay the shipping cost & local import duty charge. If you wish to avail C.O.D facility , on the basis of cost provided by the OCS branch of the shipping place, OCS offer customer the approximate estimate. About pre-payment, please contact OCS branch of shipping place OR inquiry
After custom clearance upon arrival of the cargo in India. OCS will confirm the payment for C.O.D & Import Duty.
Once payment is confirmed. We will ship the cargo to you.
Please Note: Transit Form may be necessary in some states in India.
When delivering in Maharashtra State entry tax may be charged to the recipient.
