  • Recording media such as DVD and CD-R are not treated as documents.
  • The printed matter in connection with local regulation, such as negotiable securities and cash cannot be sent.
  • P.O.BOX (post office box) delivery for U.A.E with Phone Number.

  • Notes about cargo (SPS) shipping

  • An exporter needs to prepare export clearance documents. And an importer needs to prepare import clearance documents.
  • Please check the appropriate documents required for import clearance/ import clearance conditions/ customs clearance in advance. ( KYC documents )
  • If the shipment is made as Courier shipment as per the Weight, Declared Value of products, trading conditions etc. Please note that the said shipment might be treated as the CARGO Shipment because of its contents. Please Note: When you ship from India, through simplified customs clearance and export as courier package there might be a possibility that as per the import clearance conditions in destination country the package cannot be accepted until some additional documents are provided. Moreover, additional entry documents may be required in destination country.
  • The charge of special packing and packing materials are not included. If you wish packing to be done, the charge of packing will be extra.
  • As per the IATA Standards, OCS Will calculate the charge as per the volumetric weight which-ever is higher out of Actual Weight/ Capacity Weight. Refer to “About the capacity weight (volume weight)” for the calculation method.
  • Depending upon the Items, quantity and Place of shipment Visa may be required. Also, permission for inspection of export items may be required. Application of the above-mentioned required documents can be arranged by OCS. It is a paid service.
  • P.O.BOX (post office box) delivery for U.A.E with Phone Number.

  • Volumetric weight

    If the volumetric weight exceeds the actual weight, the former will be used to calculate the shipment costs. Actual Weight: The gross weight of the shipment (including the packaging). Volumetric weight: Weight which converted the capacity of cargo as 1 kg per 5,000 cm3 (kg is the standard capacity of IATA in 5,000 cm3/kg)

    * Calculation method:
    Volumetric weight (kg) = length (cm) x Width (cm) x height (cm) /5,000 (cm³/kg) (fraction rounds up every 0.5kg)

    * Example of calculation:
    In the case of size 40cm x 50cm x 60cm and an actual weight is 15 kg load, the volumetric weight is set to 40 x 50 x 60 ÷ 5,000 = 24.00kg, and the charge is computed with 24 kg based on the volumetric weight.
